Disclaimer: We made KidsAIStory. A few years back there was no tool that could create personalized, age-appropriate stories quickly, so bedtime was hit or miss. We built the product we wanted for our family, then kept improving it with reading level controls, simple parent prompts, and a free no-login library.
Can I edit text and illustrations after generation?
Yes. You can regenerate illustrations if an image misses the mark. For fine-grained edits, copy the text and adjust line by line before saving or sharing.
Does it support multiple languages for stories?
The interface is in English. Stories can be generated in any language by writing your prompt in that language. Names, tone, and dialogue follow the language you choose.
How are age-appropriate themes enforced or filtered?
Stories are guided by an age selector at creation, which adjusts vocabulary, plot complexity, and tone for the selected age range. We apply safety filters to block adult themes, graphic violence, and other inappropriate content. Prompts are constrained toward gentle, pro-social stories so results stay age-appropriate.
