About

I'm a Python developer who gets frustrated when things cost money for no good reason.... so I build the free version myself. And I am big on Data Privacy. I'm building it in the open because I genuinely believe the best software gets made when more people poke at it. If you find a bug in one of my projects, open an issue. If you see something you'd build differently, open a PR. That's the whole idea. Always happy to connect with other developers, open-source contributors, or anyone who just wants to talk about building things.

PulseEngine - Building a free market signal engine in Python - come help!

I built PulseEngine because I was tired of paying for market data. It's free, open-source, and tracks 24 assets using nothing but public feeds. But honestly? it's a work in progress. There are open issues, rough edges, and features I haven't had time to build yet. If you're a Python dev who finds this interesting, I'd love your help. Star the repo, pick up an issue, or just tell me what's broken. This gets better the more people touch it. Stack: Python · Streamlit · yFinance · VADER

How do you decide what features should be free and what should be paid?

Let me start from the creator s perspective:
I personally don t have a product (apart from hiring people for creative work or offering personal consultations).

But as a creator, I constantly share content, insights, and information, value that helps me build trust (for free). Based on that perceived expertise, people eventually decide to work with me (a paid service).
