I built PhoneCane because I wanted to see what happens when you strip everything away — no accounts, no profiles, no history — and just let two strangers talk. Most "anonymous" platforms still collect your data or run your audio through their servers. I wanted to build something where that was technically impossible. PhoneCane uses WebRTC so audio travels peer-to-peer directly between devices. We cannot record your calls even if we wanted to.

PhoneCane connects you with a random stranger by voice instantly. No signup, no account, no recordings — ever. Audio is peer-to-peer via WebRTC so it never touches our servers. We literally cannot record you. Also features Party Calls (up to 10 people via room code) and a Voice Board where you leave anonymous 30-second audio messages for the world. Works in Safari or Chrome. No app download needed.
