About

I’m Caran, and I’m building DaytaBrain. In over a decade of IT project management, I saw projects stay green on schedule and budget while the reasons they were approved stopped being true. By the time anyone noticed, the only choice left was how to explain the miss. I researched why. My study of 20 senior leaders in 8 countries, The Signal Gap, was published in PM World Journal in 2026. Leaders were losing 20 to 60 hours every reporting cycle and still finding out too late. DaytaBrain keeps strategy and execution connected. It tells leaders whether their initiatives will still deliver what was promised, and if not, why and what to do next, while there’s still time to act. Here to learn from founders and builders. Lived this problem? I’d love your story.

I built a habit app for people who can't stick to habits alone (Verdly)

Hey everyone, I'm Nicholas, a student developer from Kenya building native Android apps under Saint Nico Labs.

I made Verdly because most habit trackers die after week two. The idea is that habits stick better with someone else involved:

Duo streaks with a friend or partner

Challenges with friends

Are we building AI agents to do the right work, or just automating the old way of working?

I've been following the AI agent launches here, and one question keeps coming to mind.

We're building agents that write code, take meeting notes, conduct research, and execute workflows. In manufacturing, robots are already performing physical work.

But are we rethinking how organizations operate, or simply teaching AI to perform the same processes faster?

I just finished my first PH launch with zero audience — 3 lessons 🎓

Hi makers!

I'm Uzma, first-time maker from Pakistan. Yesterday I launched a B2B playbook on Product Hunt with no audience, no ads, no network.

Honest results: #417, a handful of upvotes, but 5 thoughtful comments including one maker who gave me detailed feedback and 2 ideas to improve my pitch.

3 lessons I wish I knew:
