On Sunday, October 8 2023, I will be taking on a monumental task - running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Why will I be running 26.2 miles, you ask? Because I am a former resident and I am passionate about providing a safe and loving home for the children of Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, like the one provided for me.Your generous gift, and my 29-neighborhood journey of Chicago, will change the lives of children in need.
