AI models are inventing fake features for our competitors

When asking Gemini to compare our product against our top competitor, it hallucinated that the competitor has an automated API integration a feature they definitely don't offer. Meanwhile, it omitted our main selling point entirely.

It looks like because the competitor has thousands of legacy articles written about them online, the model assumes they have every standard feature by default. We are losing prospective leads because the AI is giving buyers factually incorrect comparisons.

How are you handling cases where LLMs confidently output wrong information about your software or your competitors? Is there any reliable way to correct the record?
