Building MyAuth – what auth features do developers struggle with the most?

Hey everyone

I'm launching MyAuth soon on Product Hunt.

It's an authentication service aimed at making login, session handling, and user management easier for developers.

Before launch, I'd love to hear from builders here:

If you were building auth for Next.js today, what would you avoid?

I built MyAuth specifically for Next.js App Router with a server-first approach.

While building it, I noticed most auth solutions:
Rely heavily on client-side SDKs
Add unnecessary abstraction
Feel bloated for small SaaS apps

Curious if you were building auth from scratch today, what would you do differently?

Would love to hear real pain points.

MyAuth - Server-first authentication for Next.js App Router

Secure your Next.js applications with MyAuth — a server-first authentication service built specifically for the App Router. Most auth solutions rely heavily on client-side SDKs and complex configuration. MyAuth takes a different approach: Cookie-first architecture Secure HttpOnly sessions Native App Router support OAuth 2.0 compliant Minimal setup, no magic Built for developers who want authentication that feels native to modern Next.js apps.
