stresix load tests your app on real servers. you give it a github repo or a docker image, it spins up a fresh server, deploys your app, ramps up to 2,500 users and gives you a report: what broke first and if you actually need a bigger server
why i built it: most people just upgrade the server when stuff gets slow, and half the time that doesn't fix anything
real example, i ran it on umami (the analytics app) straight from its own docker compose file. fine up to ~500 users, then stuck at 290 req/s. cpu was only at 40%, but one node thread sat at 100% and postgres was basically asleep. a bigger server wouldn't have helped at all, the fix is running more processes
Point Stresix at a GitHub repo or Docker image. It runs your app on a fresh server, hits it with up to 10,000 users from a second one, measures CPU per core and memory, and tells you if your server is enough. No scripts. ~10 minutes. From $1.60 a run.
