What's great

I run a small construction company and I'm basically never at a desk — so managing expenses used to be a nightmare. ExpenseBot changed that. I snap a photo of a receipt at a supplier, it grabs everything from my Gmail automatically, logs my mileage, and maps it all to my Sage 50 Canada GL codes. My accountant gets a clean report she can import straight into the books. No more paper. No more bookkeeper. No more chaos. Honestly couldn't imagine going back.

What needs improvement

So far it is doing everything me and my colleague require. I don't have any suggestions for improvement.

vs Alternatives

My alternative was manually inputing each receipt into a spreadsheet. So this just completely eliminated hours of manual input. Such a waste of my life.

Is auto-categorization accurate for your chart of accounts?

Yes the categorization is accurate to my chart of accounts because I uploaded a copy of them. It would auto-categorize as well as per the features listed on the site but I chose to upload ours.

Do tax deduction rules match your country’s requirements?

Yes the tax deductions have matched my country's requirements

Any rate limits or Gmail API issues during large backfills?

No rate limits. It has always processed whatever I've sent it.
