I've been using AI for the last 3 months to generate images, code snippets, and ideas for small projects. It's super fast, but I noticed I m starting to prompt instead of thinking from scratch, and my own ideas feel less original.

For those of you who build products with AI tools every day has AI made you personally more creative or less creative? Do you have any rule you follow to make sure you still think for yourself and not just copy what AI gives you?

We're taking part in the GPT-6 Astra Challenge with OpenAI right now, which got me thinking about this.

New models drop constantly. Some people test everything immediately, others stick with what works until there's a real reason to switch.

Because building products has become much more accessible thanks to AI, the bar has had to rise a bit, or at least the expectations have become stricter.

I built my own tool  SafeLimit, but personally, I wouldn t launch it on Product Hunt yet because it s still very basic and doesn t even have a website.
