I built Retrace almost by accident. I was in a bit of a creative rut, my other product Recurve had slowed down, so I needed something interesting to work on. A friend mentioned something about an AI-enabled memory layer for an app he was working on, and that sounded like a cool problem so I took a crack at it. At some point I wired it up to Discord, using server messages as the memory source....
