What's great

As a macOS developer myself, I'm genuinely impressed by how Rise balances a powerful planning engine with such a clean, native-feeling UI. The seamless integration with Apple Calendar and iCloud sync is exactly what I look for in a productivity tool. It makes organizing deep work sessions feel effortless. Highly recommended for anyone in the Apple ecosystem!

What needs improvement

The app is already very polished, but as a suggestion for future updates, it would be great to see more customizable widgets for the Mac desktop or Menu Bar. Since I spend most of my time on my Mac, having a quick glance at my remaining deep work time without opening the main app would make it even more perfect. Keep up the amazing work!

vs Alternatives

I previously used Focus To-Do, but I found it quite inconvenient because it didn't sync with my system calendar. I had to manage my tasks and calendar events separately, which broke my workflow. I was looking for a solution that bridges this gap, and Rise was the perfect alternative. Its seamless Apple Calendar integration and iCloud sync allow me to manage everything in one place, which is a massive productivity boost for me.

ScreenTranslate
... I’ve always been a huge fan of ScreenHint for pinning info on my screen. It inspired me to think: 'What if I could instantly translate what I just captured?' That’s how ScreenTranslate was born—taking that familiar drag-and-drop experience and focusing it entirely on breaking language barriers.

Claude Code was a game-changer for my solo development. Its deep understanding of context helped me solve complex logic for on-screen text extraction and translation much faster. It felt like having a senior pair programmer who truly understood my vision for ScreenTranslate.
