I’m a student at Pepperdine University with a passion for techical theatre, specializing in Lighting Design and Stage Management. Over the past 5 years, I’ve successfully stage managed a number of shows and designed a few, helping with rehearsals and design concepts, achieve performances that people enjoy. I thrive in environments that challenge me to problem solve under pressure and to lead others. My experience spans technical theatre, where I’ve honed skills in Microsoft, ETC, GrandMA3, Organization and Time Management. I’m particularly proud of my ability to understand that time is important when it comes to theatre and that I could keep organized and accoutable for my actors and fellow crew memebers.

The thing I gave up that I did not need to give up

I quit something last year. Told myself it was not working and I needed to focus on what mattered. It sounded mature. It was mostly relief.

The thing was not failing. It was slow. And I did not have the patience to keep going at a speed that felt like nothing was happening.

When should a startup say no to its biggest customer?

A customer offers to pay for a feature. The money would help, but the feature only fits their workflow.

Saying yes could fund the next few months. It could also leave you maintaining a second product inside the first one.
