Yixin (“Isshin”, 一心) Tian is a computer/ML engineer based in Toronto, Canada. He specializes in designing and building scalable ML systems for production environments. His passion lies in exploring better modes of knowledge sharing that can increase the communication bandwidth between humans (and AI). In his leisure time, he enjoys running, writing, reading, and hiking. His current research interests include: agentic systems, knowledge acquisition from multimodal data and frontier models, reasoning and planning. Applicable domains and tools include knowledge graphs, digital twins, graph machine learning, neuro-symbolic AI, and computational education.
