I was bullshitting myself every day about being productive. Wake up, open my laptop, start a Pomodoro timer, feel like a productive person. Eight hours later I'd accomplished maybe 30 minutes of real work. The rest was Twitter, Reddit, Slack, YouTube videos about productivity instead of actually being productive. Tried everything. Website blockers (I'd just use my phone). Strict schedules...
