Metabase Data Studio - Build the semantic layer that makes AI analytics trustworthy

AI analytics is only as good as the context you give it. Without a semantic layer - a unified, shared definition of metrics, segments, and business logic - AI (and everyone else) is guessing at what "active user" or "revenue" means at your company. Data Studio is the analyst workbench where that foundation gets built. Define metrics once. Transform raw tables using SQL or Python. See dependencies before changing anything. Publish what's trusted to your Library. Then get reliable answers from AI

Product Hunt discontinued coming soon / teaser pages. Did they work for you?

I noticed that Product Hunt discontinued the teaser / coming soon section this week, and I m curious if it did help you build genuine traction?

My take (from hunting PH launches):

New in Metabase 56

Hey PH community,

We just dropped Metabase 56 and we'd love to get your thoughts! Included in this release:

  • Filters you can add in the body of dashboards - think headers and directly on cards

  • Time grouping parameters for native queries

  • Embedded Analytics JS - a Javascript library build on top of our React SDK to let you embed predefined components, like a single chart, a dashboard with optional drill-through, or the query builder, and customize

  • Field filters that play nice with aliased tables

  • Coming soon: Metabot AI

We're curious: besides being able to query data in natural language, what kind of LLM-powered feature would you most like to see in Metabase?
