I did use Figma a little bit for this project (favicons and some UI), but mostly for the back-and-forth process of refinement to better articulate what I'm going for. Like, showing it a picture of the current UI or interaction and then another picture of what I'd like it to look like. You get the idea. It's a pretty basic web app.
The logic in how Tailwindcss works is a breath of fresh air. It is funky at first, coming from CSS, but it quickly becomes clear and then it's off to the races, as they say. Try Tailwindcss. I bet you'll enjoy it.
The combo of Next.js, GitHub, and Vercel has been just brilliant for shipping things. I've been using it since the app router was in beta. In fact, I actually learned React in the context of Next.js. It's great!
I've been using this wonderful piece of software since 2018. It was the best thing for digital product design since Photoshop slices. Fantastic software.
Cursor is a game-changer in new product creation. I used to work with good ol' VSCode, then added in Github Copilot and Copilot Chat, and now this! It has truly sped up production of new products. I love it so far.
