SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! BEWARE!!!! When you read all the reviews of people on here and other places saying that this company refuses to pay claims … BELIEVE THEM! I have been a customer of SafteyWing for many years and Ive never made a claim before. I had a medical situation arise out of the blue and had to seek medical treatment. It was a legitimate claim and 100% fell within the boundaries of the policy. I submitted the claim and it was denied... the reason was given that they do not support pre-existing or chronic conditions. My situation was neither pre-existing, nor chronic. It literally arose overnight and was gone within 3 weeks. I had a medical report and an MRI from a surgeon. They also wrote on their rejection reply to me … “In an ideal world we would pay every single claim. In the real world, paying every claim would result in extremely expensive insurance”. In an ideal world, an insurance company would honor their terms and conditions… but they did not. To add to this, I filed an appeal and had to chase them up about it after nearly a month to which they told me they didn’t have it and can I please submit the claim again. I took the time out of my busy day to go through the whole process again and re-submit the claim, only to be told it didn’t come through (even though I have a signed document from them saying they received it)… but that it didn’t really matter anyway because they were still going to deny it and if I wanted to file another appeal I could do so in 6 months. They have no intention of ever honoring the agreement. They will find any excuse they can to not pay your claim… even if it IS 100% legitimate. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! I wish I had listened to all the people I saw writing about what a scam they were. I will never use them again. BUYER BEWARE!
