Page speed is so important and easy to overlook (or in the case of Google's tools, overwhelming to dig into.) DebugBear made such a great tool here, I'm looking forward to having it in my toolbox!

We're using Reform at my company and we're incredibly excited to see where it goes. It's already better than the product we were using before β innovating quickly, more modern looking, and way less frustrating β and Peter has been super helpful whenever we have a request or questions. Huge fan.

I avoided Calendly whenever I could because I hated how impersonal it was. Felt transactional, telling folks I wanted to help to "book a time on my calendar" and sending a generic link β I'd rather just do it manually. SavvyCal saved me. I feel more comfortable making a custom link for the invitee, adding their name and making a custom URL β shows that I put some time in and value their time in...

As compared to the usual conference presentation where it's a crapshoot whether you'll learn something, MicroConf's videos focus on actionable information and advice. So many hours of valuable information from the best in the industry β really excited to dig in.

Hey everyone, I'm super excited to relaunch Hello Web App on Product Hunt today! I originally launched it in 2015 β the books now have been updated for 2018 technologies (Django 2.0 and Python 3.7) and now Hello Web App books are bundled together. I love Python since I find it easy to read and understand as someone who has an Art degree. Django (a Python framework) makes it super easy to build...

I was a backer of the Kickstarter campaign and received a mahogany Turn Touch. It's gorgeous and fun to have a remote to control our Hues that guests can use and play with. It's a really lovely home device. Pros: Light, beautiful to have out Cons: Best if you have Hues or other smart devices first

Hey friends! Excited to share Hello Web Design with you today. I've written a few other books teaching programming for designers, which lead to me thinking I should write a book teaching design for programmers. I like to cut all the BS out and teach just what someone needs to know in order to get from 0 to 1. I've benefitted greatly from being able to do both design and programming (I can get...

This is the author! I wrote this book for people who needed some place to go after they finished building their first web app (like with my first book, Hello Web App, or another tutorial). This book covers intermediate concepts and tutorials like building payments, adding an API, adding user-uploaded images, and more. Happy to answer any and all questions about the book!
