Having searched since the mid '90s for a device to capture notes, sketches & ideas (HP 200LX) I have to say I have been amazed at the effectiveness of the Baron Fig Confidant. Analog, physical, carry anywhere and don't need to stow during takeoff or landing. Glad to see Joey & team continue to innovate!

@Emilylafave brilliant. I agree that as a hard-core, world-traveling, salt-tasting foodie this is a great service not only for time-saving tasty home-cooked meals but also for idea generation and a peek into recipes you would not normally try.

I was going to say "kinda like Farecast" (one of the coolest travel-related things from 10 years ago) but it looks like Microsoft / Bing Travel killed it back in April of this year. Sad. Glad to know there are quality alternatives.

There have been a few other price trackers posted recently. They also have camelegg.com and camelbuy.com too.

Camel Camel Camel is a price tracker that makes sure you're getting the best deals! You do not even need to make a registration to track your desirable products' prices, you can do that if you want to get alerts. And if you have created a Wishlist in your Amazon account, it watched the price history of all the items that you have not purchased yet.

I would be fascinated if you can find any relevant research or if you want to get involved in a project with the Medicing of Cycling research task force: http://www.medicineofcycling.com/research/ (I am a co-founder). Question: what safety problem does this solve that adding another bright LED flasher would not? Do drivers notice variable flash rates sooner than just "ridiculously bright" at a...
