My Thoughts on D5 Render
As someone who uses D5 Render regularly, I’ve been really impressed with how intuitive and fast it is. The real-time rendering is a game-changer—what you see is pretty much what you get, and that makes the design process way smoother. I especially love how easily it integrates with SketchUp and Revit. The live sync works like a charm and saves a ton of time.
The built-in asset library is a huge plus. The vegetation, lighting effects, and materials look great right out of the box, and they’re constantly updating it. I’ve managed to get some photorealistic results without spending hours tweaking settings, which is honestly one of the best parts.
It’s not as feature-packed as something like V-Ray or Lumion (yet), but for speed, ease of use, and visual quality, it’s hard to beat—especially if you're working on architectural visuals or interior design.
Overall: Super solid, fast, and fun to use.
