Brodie is a Canadian developer and cybersecurity graduate born in 1996. He completed the Cyber Security Specialist program at CDI College and holds several certifications including TestOut Ethical Hacker Pro, Security Pro, Server Pro, and Cisco Networking Academy's Introduction to Cybersecurity. In 2024 he founded Imp Aid: Digital Solutions, a technology services business. In 2025 he began developing AVA, a project focused on building a local AI assistant that can understand what users are doing on their computer and help with everyday tasks.

Ava is a local AI assistant designed to understand what’s happening on your computer and help with everyday tasks. By combining language models, computer vision, OCR, and memory, Ava can see what's on the screen, learn from interactions, and assist users in real time. The goal is to build an affordable AI assistant that runs locally on almost any computer with minimal setup while helping protect users from common scams and digital threats.
