I built Kyulift as a solo dev and it has no backend at all no account system, no sync server, no analytics SDKs, no ads. Every rep you log is written to and read from your device, which also means it works fully offline on a basement gym phone.
The core mechanic is auto-progression: it derives your next set's weight and reps from last session's actuals (so no mental math at the barbell), estimates 1RM via the Epley formula, and benchmarks lifts against bodyweight-normalised strength standards instead of absolute numbers. CSV export included if you want to do your own analysis.
Feedback from people who actually lift or who want to nitpick my offline data model very welcome.
Kyulift turns strength training into a rank climb from F to S. Automatically increase weights with clear explanations. Earn lasting ranks in bench, squat, deadlift, press, and row based on real strength standards. Includes 115+ exercises, a planner, 1RM estimates, charts, PRs, and a HIIT/CrossFit timer. No accounts, ads, or tracking. Your data stays on your phone. Free with a one-time Pro unlock. Get stronger with Kilo the tiger!
