How it works:

2. Browse normally. Model names get a subtle underline.
3. Hover. A compact tooltip appears with live data.
4. Click "Compare models" to dive deeper on rival.tips.

I have a hard time comparing Al models, their benchmarks, how expensive they are, so I built a Chrome extension that detects the model being used directly on the page and shows contextual info (like relative cost/level) without needing to leave the tab. The goal is to reduce confusion and make it easier to understand what you're actually using in realtime.

This is my 4th fully open-source macOS mini app, took me a long while to get it to work. It transcribes local videos or YouTube links pasted. For YouTube it requires yt-dip to work. I'm in the process of optimizing my designer/dev workflows with local mini apps like this one.
