What's great
What I really like about Dvina is that it feels very practical for everyday coding. The AI is responsive and actually understands the project context well. One of the best parts is that the token usage doesn’t run out immediately like many other AI coding tools, which makes it much more usable for longer development sessions. It lets you focus on building instead of constantly worrying about limits. Overall it feels fast, lightweight, and developer-friendly.
What needs improvement
It would be great to see more advanced code editing capabilities in the future. For example, a more powerful editor experience similar to Visual Studio Code or Cursor could make it even better. Features like deeper repo navigation, stronger file editing tools, and a more full-featured coding interface would turn Dvina into an even more complete AI development environment.
vs Alternatives
Before trying Dvina, I also looked at tools like Cursor and Visual Studio Code with AI extensions. Those are great tools, but I wanted something that felt more integrated and focused on AI-assisted workflows. Dvina felt simpler to get started with and the token limits were much more practical for real development work.
