Be My Eyes

What's great

For someone with low vision, Be My Eyes isn’t about “seeing everything.” It’s about independence in the little things. Sometimes all you need is to check if the milk’s expired or figure out if your computer screen is stuck on “Update” or actually crashed. It’s those moments when your magnifier doesn’t quite cut it, but you don’t want to bother a neighbor. Calling a stranger might feel awkward at first, but the volunteers are almost always incredibly kind. They actually seem excited to help, which makes it easier to ask. The Be My AI feature is a game-changer. If you’re not up for chatting, the AI can describe a photo for you. It’s perfect for reading menus, checking shirt colors, or confirming if your pasta is al dente.
