Plainly Videos has released an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that lets AI agents browse, customize, and render After Effects templates directly through natural language.
The MCP gives AI agents four main capabilities: - Browse all your video projects and designs (filtering by tags, duration, aspect ratio) - Explore template parameters (text boxes, image slots, video layers, colors) - Trigger video renders with custom data - Monitor render status in real-time
This means you can do things like "create a product video using my latest template with these specifications" and have your AI agent handle the entire workflow - from finding the right template to delivering the finished video URL.

Hi there! I've been working in content marketing & SEO for almost a decade - and while I've seen many announcements of the death of SEO, the current search climate, combined with the latest announcements from Google are strong signals that SEO may (finally ) be over.
What do you think? Is "answer engine optimization" the answer?
This past year, we ve expanded our newsletters from our flagship Daily Digest to 4 additional interest-specific newsletters for AI enthusiasts, product and design lovers, internet junkies, and serial makers. If you ve lost track, we now have a landing page that you can use to recommend your favorite newsletter to your friends or manage your own newsletter subscriptions (also available in your profile settings).
Hey there, Product Hunt community! I'm excited to announce that I've just reached a significant milestone: a 200-day streak on Product Hunt! During this journey, I've explored incredible products and contributed my thoughts and feedback. It's been an incredible experience, and I appreciate the knowledge and relationships I've made. I've gained 1,000 points, yet I'm still going. My new objective? Reaching 2,000 points! I'm up for the challenge and excited to see where this trip takes me. I'm glad of my collection of 17 badges. From interesting remarks to tastemaking, each badge reflects a different facet of my Product Hunt adventure. Speaking of badges, I've had some intriguing ones in mind. I desire to acquire the "Tastemaker 100" badge and am committed to doing so. Furthermore, I'm excited to receive the "Comment Award: LOL" and "Comment Award: Good Find" badges for engaging, amusing, and intelligent remarks to Product Hunt discussions. Through my interactions, I hope to provide value to the community. Let's keep the conversation going! I'd love to connect with you beyond Product Hunt.
