Honestly it came down to three things. The user base is massive and growing. The API lets us build real, powerful integrations without hacking around limitations. And the community management needs on Discord are genuinely complex enough that a CLI tool adds serious value. On simpler platforms there wouldn't be enough depth to justify what we're building.

I didn't choose Claude Code. I tried everything else first and kept coming back to it. It's the only tool that felt like working with a senior dev who actually reads your code before suggesting changes. Once you experience that, autocomplete tools just don't cut it anymore.
