I was scammed from Airalo and their customer service department refused to help. I paid for a 2Gb package and upon activating, the carrier instantly sent me a text saying that I have 1Gb. I was hoping the carrier was wrong but once I used up the 1Gb, I was left stranded in Brazil with no data and no way to order an Uber. I contacted Airalo and they said their policies do not allow any refunds since I did not have an issue with service. No I didnt have an issue while using my 1Gb but I paid for 2Gb! This is the exact definition of bait and switch which is a scam. I've used them many times before without issues but it seems that they are switching to deceptive trade practices and have intentions to scam their customers. Terrible since they offer such a convenient service while traveling but please beware to ever use them. if you do, don't expect they will give you the Gb you paid for.
