What an amazing marketplace! I was really shocked to find a site that has everything a modern professional writer could want, all in one place. I mean, of course something like Reedsy SHOULD exist, I just didn't realize that it DID! But to find it was like a gift. I connected with a professional cover designer that had designed a cover for a big six publisher book that I'd admired when it came out a few years ago. And I was like, oh my gosh, I could actually get the same designer for MY book?!?! I had a wonderful experience with the designer, and got a frankly knock-out cover that I expect to do big things for my book. As an indie author, we really are just a DIY operation, and before now, finding resources has always just been through word of mouth from other author friends.
