I guess most makers go into product building to build a successful company, or eventually exit it and live a life without time and space restrictions AKA, earning money while they sleep.
Many people start their own businesses alongside their 9-5 jobs.
Hello everyone, It'm Thomas from France, and discovered ProductHunt via Gemini when searching how to promote/launch my new app. With my wife, Yazming, we live in Bordeaux, France and created a new app that has nothing to do with wine! We have 2 dogs. One is 15yo and we started struggling with vet records, medication, reminders and a lot of things that dogs parents need to deal with on a daily basis. Because, or thanks to this, we created PetHubble, an app that is supposed, and will very soon, make being a dog parent much easier! I'm now looking forward to being part of this community, learn from it, share what I've learned so far if it can be useful to anyone, and plan a product launch. Merci !
Let me start from the creator s perspective: I personally don t have a product (apart from hiring people for creative work or offering personal consultations).
But as a creator, I constantly share content, insights, and information, value that helps me build trust (for free). Based on that perceived expertise, people eventually decide to work with me (a paid service).
