Three things: the deploy-from-GitHub workflow is instant, the service-level separation (API, worker, MCP as separate services sharing one repo) was trivial to set up, and the pricing is honest — we pay for what we use, no reserved instances. For a platform that orchestrates 5 LLMs per deliberation with variable compute, that elasticity matters. We evaluated Render, Fly.io, and AWS ECS — Railway was the only one where we went from local to production in an afternoon without touching a Dockerfile.
