About

"A self-driven, customer-oriented Product Marketer with long-standing experience in product launches, positioning, and cross-functional go-to-market execution. Since 2010, much of that work has focused on supporting Finnish tech companies, primarily in B2B SaaS. Most recently, I served as Head of Marketing at Documill, working on document-centric solutions for Salesforce-powered enterprises. With a background in product marketing, growth hacking, and copywriting. I know how to write compelling copy as well as concise, clear, bug reports. At the same time, I’m technical enough to set up and maintain software such as Salesforce or HubSpot for cross-departmental collaboration, marketing automation and more."

What's your favorite pack?

I'd never considered packs until a friend complained about the "default" words they just weren't doing it for him. "Now, if you had a fantasy pack ". And thus fantasy, sci-fi, supers. I find the fantasy pack the most challenging, but on a good day that really works. :)

Is Product Hunt still worth launching on?

I have seen a lot of people step back from platforms like LinkedIn after watching established accounts get randomly restricted without clear explanations. It makes you realize how risky is it to rely heavily on a platform that can pull the rug on your reach out of nowhere.

That situation made me rethink product Hunt. it used to be the go-to place for real feedback from early adopters. lately, though, it feels dominated by upvote groups, artificial praise, and makers trading favors. It's hard to tell if a top spot actually brings real users anymore or just temporary noise.

For anyone launching recently, where do you stand? Is Product Hunt still delivering real traction, or has it become too noisy to be worth the effort?

Do free tiers actually tell you anything whether a product is good?

I have noticed I judge products almost entirely off the free version, which is probably unfair but also kind of the point. If the free tier is annoying, limited in a way that feels deliberate, or nags me constantly, i usually bail before I ever see what the paid version can do.

But sometimes the free tier is so generous I never feel a reason to upgrade, which I guess is a different problem for whoever made it. And other times the free version is fine but I can tell the real product is hiding behind the paywall, so I am basically reviewing a demo.

I do not really have a point here, just curious if anyone else forms strong opinions off the free tier alone. Do you give something a fair shot before deciding, or does the free experience make or break it for you?
