I just realized it's been a whole year since I started working on xosend. It was only supposed to take a couple of months. I planned it to be a one-and-done project so that I'd finally ship something. Every other personal project I've started in the past decade has gotten 90% of the way there before being abandoned, usually for a good reason (and it happened more times than I'm comfortable admitting). But I think this was worth doing well, because it's a simple, everyday problem that was lacking a simple solution.
