Linkedin's been full of "ai is coming for your job" posts since astra dropped. Genuinely not feeling that. Feels more like it'll make my actual work easier, more productive, not obsolete.
Might be naive, might be right, not sure yet. But curious what the actual builders here think, not the linkedin doom posters, people who use ai tools daily to ship things.
Does something like this genuinely worry you, or does it just feel like another leverage tool making the work faster.
Needed to update my account details on a tool I use.
Instead of a clear settings button, I was greeted with floating menus autoplaying videos and popups asking me to upgrade my plan. It took way longer than it should have to find a basic link.
The site looked amazing, but the experience was exhausting.
I'll get a random app idea at 2 AM and convince myself it s a genius concept. Buy the domain immediately. Set up the landing page and GitHub repo. Spend hours tweaking the visual branding.
