I have made a list of platforms where you can create your community and share your knowledge in a closed circle (and in some cases sell memberships).
The list is according to my preferences, so the platforms I use the most are at the top.

Building a community these days is no longer just about setting up a social media profile or starting a private group on Slack or Discord.
Companies need to differentiate themselves, gain a competitive advantage, and build relationships with clients/users on a more personal level.

one thing we learned launching openowl: engaging on reddit, twitter, HN, product hunt, linkedin all at once is exhausting. especially as a solo founder.
so we built a system for it and just open-sourced the whole thing.
it's a claude code template with platform-specific guides and skills for each platform. you clone the repo, fill in your product details, and run /engage-reddit or /engage-twitter or
/engage-all and it finds relevant posts, drafts replies in the right tone for each platform, and you review before posting.

No, at this time, I do not mean social media but something like an enclosed community for the core (top-tier customers).
On Friday, I had a call with a marketing manager at @Crisp and he mentioned this thing.I know there are more companies that are trying to create more personal connections with paying clients and network among themselves. I love community management, wanna learn from the best and apply the best practices.

Where do you regularly post product updates, company news, announcements, etc. Or do you typically publish those through your blog or website or even chat like Slack? I'm using a mix of a few and am curious which one will be the most active. What has your experience been like? Which platforms have you tried/want to try?

I see this platform succeeding in moderating discussions and communities in general. When the platform succeeds, individuals succeed too (and vice versa).
I believe that everyone can make friends here and contribute to a strong, supportive community.
