Snapshot is a twist on the photo-sharing game. Think of it as a reverse Instagram. Instead of curating your own digital image, your friends get to post photos of you. And don’t worry, the favor is returned. It’s all about seeing yourself through your friends' lenses and them seeing theirs through yours (literally!).

Don’t panic yet: Before you start worrying about unflattering snaps or embarrassing moments, Snapshot is private by default. Only friends you've approved can contribute to your online gallery. 

The goal is to make friends and memories the cornerstones of social media again by creating an app that prioritizes content directly relevant to your life. According to Founder Trevor Welsh, “this has been accomplished by creating a social network built on the pillars of friendship, social interaction, and trust.”
