PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT

$18M in seed-funding for a second-brain

Ever wonder what the conversion metric is from your brain's ideas to "paper"? I'd be afraid to find out, but it’s a problem I know many can relate to — even a Notion superuser.

Another productivity notes app has launched to improve your idea capture, but the demo video for this one, called Ideaflow, shows a promising example of what it could mean to be “the best version of yourself” as a notetaker.

With Idealfow, you can record your voice, and the AI parses your input and creates structured notes. Notes are organized with hashtags (#) and note references (+) so you can do things like filter your notes/thoughts later on.

Ideaflow is meant to be a replacement for tools like Apple Notes, but work alongside more robust productivity apps like Notion.

The startup has bagged $18M in seed funding so far, according to Crunchbase, and an impressive team roster, with advisors like Naval Ravikant (Angelist) and Joe Lonsdale (Palantir).

Co-founder Jacob Cole notes on his LinkedIn that the idea for Ideaflow evolved while the makers were at MIT doing research with Tim Berners-Lee (World Wide Web creator, among other things) on the concept of a “shared brain” to extend the human mind into the computer.

So, if you’re a person who talks to themselves, has ideas while showering or driving, or goes to events (i.e. everyone), take a look at Ideaflow.
