gm legends! Welcome back to the Leaderboard. In today's digest, we're diving into: a Discord alternative that does away with chaos, an AI assistant that is kind of close to magic, and a tool that has hidden charges shaking in fear.

Integral: A Slack and Discord alternative for communities. 

Discord is chaotic at best, overwhelmingly overloading at its worst. What started off as a place for gammers has quickly become the de facto place for communities but might not be the best place. Integral takes away the thousands of notifications, gazillion plugins, plethora of media connections and boils down communities to what matters most, the people. Now the question is, who will hang around.

Ceejay: An AI that helps manage your inbox and your time. 

An AI personal assistant feels both distant and inevitable. Ceejay seems to be tackling a few focused use cases - better email search, pro-active surfacing of important emails with summaries, and scheduling with natural language. It’s not the magical personal assistant we’re all hoping for - yet - but I’m intrigued by the focus and the form factor - a nicely designed mobile app. In the spectrum of tools vs. magic, this is decidedly in the tools camp - and that might be a good thing.

Pine: An AI assistant for managing your bills. 

I hate wasting time calling the bank, credit cards, or cell phone carrier to dispute all those pesky little surcharges—it always feels like I’m losing more time on the call than the refund is worth. That’s why Pine is so compelling! It not only spots those extra charges automatically but does it proactively, so you don’t have to dig through statements or make awkward calls. If it could also manage and negotiate all our subscriptions—like getting a better deal on Netflix—it could become the ultimate personal finance assistant.
