gm legends and to those of you celebrating, happy holidays!
We're switching it up a little today by recalling some of the biggest, coolest, funnest, and most hyped products of 2025, so put your feet up and settle in with a cup of hot cocoa and relive the year in tech, 2025.
Q1 was a doozy for big launches

For the next three days, weโre counting down 15 products that defined tech in 2025. Instead of rankings or launch-day noise, we asked the wider team a simple question: which products actually stuck with you this year. Some because they changed how you work.
Some because they were genuinely fun. Others because of the wider impact they had, and a few because they made an outsized splash and showed a new, interesting use of AI, even if they were not built for your job. Letโs call it Product Hunt Wrapped ๐.
These are the first five. Big launches that made it clear 2025 was not going to ease anyone in gently.
GPT-5
This is where a lot of people stopped treating AI like a side experiment. Reliability jumped enough that it could take on real work without constant supervision, which quietly changed expectations everywhere else.
Claude Code
Putting AI directly in the terminal instead of wrapping it in a new interface was the right call. It respected existing workflows and removed a lot of friction for people doing serious work.
Bolt x Figma
Design handoff has always been slow and awkward. This didnโt magically solve it, but it made the jump from design to working app feel faster and less ceremonial, which was enough to get teams paying attention.
Notion Mail
Email is still email, but this treated the inbox as something you can shape instead of endure. Views, structure, and intent started to matter more than unread counts.
Aqua Voice
Fast dictation that works wherever you type is not exciting on paper. In practice, itโs the kind of tool that quietly sticks because it saves time without asking you to change how you work.
Thatโs day one. Tomorrow we continue with the next five products that defined tech in 2025 Want your say? Drop your faves in the forum post below.
So weโre justโฆ talking to software now?

ElevenLabs has been the go-to for voice for a while. Now they've turned that expertise into agents that actually get things done. You set one up, it talks like a real person, listens, responds, and helps handle the task โ support calls, bookings, whatever the job is. Not a demo, not a "press 1 for sales" situation. It's ready to deploy. Feels like one of those shifts where the interface quietly changes. Less typing, less clicking, more just saying what needs to happen and letting it play out.
