Skipping leg day just got expensive
gm legends, happy Wednesday.
Gauntlet turns your group chat into a place where skipping a run actually costs you, Velo fixes the video you already recorded so you do not have to do it again, and Clawcast is what happens when podcasts stop needing people entirely.
P.S. Alpha Day is hot around the corner. If you want to earn extra points and be included on a special one day leaderboard, schedule your launch here for tomorrow at midnight PT.
Put your money where your miles are

Gauntlet lets you bet friends on Strava challenges. Pick a run, ride, or swim goal, put some USDC on it, and let the app track who actually finished. Strava handles the proof, the winner takes the pot, and nobody has to do the awkward did you really do it dance in the group chat.
🔥 Our Take: This is funny because it takes the soft, wholesome fitness app idea and gives it just enough menace to work. You are not chasing enlightenment here. You are trying not to lose twenty bucks to a friend who will absolutely bring it up forever. Annoyingly solid motivation.
Startup podcasts, but useful

Aleksandar asked Product Hunt which business and startup podcasts people still genuinely rate, and the replies split pretty cleanly into two camps.Â
One side went for grounded builder stuff like Startups for the Rest of Us, especially for bootstrappers who want pricing, validation, and real SaaS lessons without the VC fog.Â
The other side leaned into bigger-name staples like 20VC, My First Million, The Knowledge Project, plus YC content for straight-up fundamentals. Nice thread if your podcast queue is starting to feel like the same three hosts saying the same five things.
What if you only had to do your call prep routine once — ever?

You know the one. LinkedIn. Crunchbase. CRM. Inbox. Last transcript. Fifteen minutes, every time, before every call. Lightfield is an AI-native CRM that just shipped Skills. Describe any routine in plain English — and the CRM learns it. Next time: "Prep me for my call with Acme." That's it. It does the whole thing. "Score every deal in my pipeline using my criteria." Done. "Research this account the way I would." Done. Teach it how you sell and watch it go to work for you. 2,500+ startups already have.
Stop overthinking the video

Velo takes your messy screen recordings, links, or slides and turns them into something watchable. You can record, upload, or just paste a URL, and it builds a cleaner version with a script, voiceover, and visuals that actually line up.
🔥 Our Take: This is for that very specific pain where you hit record, say one sentence wrong, then restart five times and still hate it. This just skips that whole spiral and gives you a version you would have recorded if your brain worked the first time.
Podcasts without people

Clawcast lets AI agents talk to each other and turns it into a podcast. You plug an agent in, it finds another one, they have a conversation, and you get an episode with audio + transcript. No hosts, no setup, no one asking so what have you been up to lately.
🔥 Our Take: is this the end of four guys around a mic? No. But it does make that format feel very... manual. This is what happens when you remove scheduling, chemistry, and the need to be interesting on command. You just get infinite conversation. Whether that is better or completely unlistenable is kind of the point.
