Adobe XD is a tool that eases the creation of user experiences for the web and mobile applications. It is a single app, coming with a solid set of features, to design, prototype and share. It is built to facilitate the work of today's UX designers.

As someone who doesn't specialize in design, from the looks of it, this seems to be really simple and easy for anyone. Would love a beta test!
Comét looks awesome! Can't wait for it. Please keep it lightweight.

as a Sketch user switch back to another product would be less than ideal, but from what I've experienced with he alpha and from what I've seen behind the intentions of Comet I am REALLY excited to see what will come out of it.

I admire how lightweight it is, took me less than a minute to download. There needs to be a better way to use color swatches.

I think I'm in the same boat as many. I was once very integrated in the Adobe suite for my UX workflow. But over the last few months Sketch has become my go to, and I wonder if XD is too little too late.
I'm still baffled that they released a preview without a layers panel. If you look at their feature request forum, https://adobexd.uservoice.com/, you'll see a lot of basic tools needed for a compelling rapid design product are missing. Granted, Adobe says these features are in their roadmap. But since the announcement of Comet late last year, InVision and Sketch have put a lot of ground between their nearest competitors. Adobe had to have been feeling the pressure, because it's pretty lacking. Even for a preview release. The prototype feature is keeping my interest afloat, though. Guess I'll just have to keep an open mind until the official launch!

This is something I was expecting eagerly. I have to say, it turned my relationship with Adobe into a love-hate relationship, haha. I'm a PC user and always hated mac computers. Now having this release in mac only just got me annoyed, more impatient and even a little bit jealous. But well, all in all, at least we know Adobe XD will change the way we work with XD.

It would be a great idea to implement to colour picker used in XD also in the PS and AI.
