Two months ago, I'd never heard of Product Hunt. When I told people we were launching @AI Context Flow here, they told me to keep my expectations in check.

I’m a first timer here and decided to launch on Product Hunt after a 1,5 weeks of building the product. In hindsight I could have planned it better but the bonus is seeing all these wonderful products like yours. Very interested to learn how you went about the launch and getting sign ups. Congratulations on such a successful launch!

@polman_trudo going through other comments will answer some of your questions. But, it does need preparation. Getting the graphics done, nailing the messaging, and making sure at least some people know and like your product beforehand.

@mbbuilds you mean support from the product hunt team? I just emailed them to feature us, that's all. And that too we didn't get featured on the day of our choice but rather on a saturday.
So, no strategy here actually.
