Enterprise security review is where most AI deployments stall. Sharing the checklist we now use to pass on first pass.

Pre-review checklist:

- SOC 2 Type II report ready

- Architecture diagram showing data flow, including all third-party calls

- PII handling documentation (input, processing, storage, deletion)

- Audit trail capabilities documented with retention policies

- Incident response runbook including AI-specific scenarios

- Model card for every model used, including third-party

- Data residency confirmation in writing

- Penetration test results within 12 months

The lesson, security reviews fail because the documentation isn't ready, not because the security is bad.

Treat documentation as a deliverable, not an afterthought.
