I really love that the application has come to Mac and iDevices, but I am still eagerly waiting for the Windows release. A great email client is something that Windows currently lacks, a lot.

This is potentially a newbie question but can you do all the nifty smart filtering that Gmail does for me automagically? Would love to replace it as my go-to email for both Mac and IOS but don't want to be dealing with all the junk Gmail sorts for me (via Kiwi for Gmail etc). Kudos & thanks! I'd happily pay the $5 for the IOS and more for MAC.. I wish there was a simple try before you buy so I can test it out..

@roamlocally Hey Paul, sorry for the delay - just now saw this. I assume you're referring to the awesome little bundling filters that Gmail offers? Currently at this time, Google doesn't offer any API for this -- there are hacked together workarounds you may have seen on other apps. We'd love to offer them, but also prefer to stick to playing by the rules as this assures keeping email partners happy

@uxdzen Hey me too!

gMail was amazing when it initially arrived. I was blown away by the simplicity and the ease of use. Keyboard shortcuts and filters were a revelation for power use. Simplicity and storage space made it a doddle for everyone to use. A lovely design and good ux are not to be sniffed at. There must be away to learn from the greats and bring the future closer.

When an email is about to be snoozed, isnt there a way to send a push notification. Love the fact that the badge count can be with the message count!

I was a huge Sparrow advocate, later switched to Airmail and it is still my main driver for mail. This was an insta-purchase and so far I don't regret it. HIghly customizable and I love the easy multi-account management, color/image indication and switching. It's pricey for a mail app, as most other solutions are free, but this is really well made.

Can't wait to try the iOS version after having used the Mac app for a while now. These days, it feels like an app for managing something broad like email is DOA unless it is accompanied by variants for other form factors. I'm sure I will be torn once Readdle offers Spark for iPad and Mac, because I absolutely love Spark on iPhone. Quick thought on pricing — agree that the Mac version of an app is generally priced higher than its iOS counterpart. But I must disagree that this stems from a marketing tactic to lure people to try/buy the Mac version. I think — people take their computer way more seriously than iPad or iPhone, especially for work. Given email clients are ‘productivity’ apps, they tend to be priced relative to other apps in this same class. Further, I do believe it takes longer — both in terms of intelligence and sheer work hours — to produce a quality Mac app than its iOS counterpart. So charging more for a Mac app only seems apt. The theory that a free iOS app might have a halo effect on someone buying the Mac version seems weak. After all, nearly every Mac app comes with a try before you buy option; wonder how pricing dynamics would work for iOS if a try before you buy option existed.

I bought the app to try it out because I really like AirMail on my Mac, but after testing it I still think Boxer Pro is a better option for my needs when it comes to email on my iPhone.

Nice, but Outlook is the best for now on iOS.

This is a great mail app for the power user. So much customization it's not even funny. A Venti sized drink will cost you this much or more at Starbucks which is money thrown away. Don't hesitate to pick up this powerful email client for iOS.
