Apple usually show its best by the third iteration of a product, but in the case of the AirPods the got it right in the first one... This release seems like a consolidation releases (S), I hope we will get really surprised by the next iteration.

Now with "Hey, Siri" feature these are the actual "AR glasses" we've been all hearing about during the last 5 years. Indeed:
-you can get from them whatever info you want
-they are aware of the current context (position, calendar, notifications, e.t.c.)
-you can wear them all day long without any discomfort and without looking like weirdo (this is what most of AR glasses still can't achieve)
The only difference is that you're getting audio instead of visual info. But I wouldn't consider this a disadvantage. There is even a huge pro: your vision is clear so you can drive/walk/run safe without fear of a new notification popping up in front of you in the most inappropriate moment.
