When I'm using a Mac that doesn't have this my instinct is to use Alfred to open Alfred. Running macOS without it kind of feels like typing with one hand tied to my back.

Workflow is a killer feature. Also, you can configure Alfred to be called by double tapping one of the modifier keys. This is super convenient.

Alfred is cool, and just keeps getting better but ... I'm still a die-hard Quicksilver user (qsapp.com). I don't know what it is, maybe a decade of seeing that simple prompt has it hardwired into my head.
