Introducing Private AI Assistant: ensuring true anonymity by preventing fingerprinting and data collection. It mixes all AI requests, doesn't see web pages or addresses, and uses no user data. Experience ultimate privacy with Aloha's innovative solution.
We’ve all been talking about AI privacy threats forever! With the launch of Private assistant we are doing first steps in solving this problem. You should no longer worry that AI will access your browsing history or a content of the pages.
But even if you still believes AI is a threat, we’ve made a nice red button that kills all AI functionality in Aloha browser so it won’t bother you ever again. Now you’re true Sarah Connor!
Right now Private AI assistant supports a few models available to the market, like GPT3.5, GPT4 turbo, GPT4o with others to come very soon. I’m excited about this first step, but there are so much to come very soon! I appreciate your support and please follow Aloha to stay updated!

Awesome! This looks like the ultimate product for online presence!
Wishing explosive growth and success to the ALOHA team!
Very clear guidelines and cool graphic comic!
Hey Andrew,
I'm curious, how does the "red button" work technically to ensure all AI functionality is completely turned off?
re there any specific models you're looking forward to adding support for next?
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin Thanks! All AI functionality is completely isolated in the app, and when The Red Button is pressed, the app makes sure the code in isolation won't run at all.
@kyrylosilin As for models, we want to bring as many as possible, But before that, we do A LOT of testing to make sure they don't compromise your privacy. Just for example, that they don't use your queries to learn. If there are any doubts, it won't make it into Aloha.

This is a great feature!
Also would be nice to have an option to use small quantized open source model like llama/mistral 8B on device to make sure that no data leaves the phone and a big open source model on the Aloha Server also to make sure that data stays only in Aloha
But this is a great start thanks for this feature!
@micnikolev That is where we are moving towards to

Congrats on the launch! The presentation was excellent.
Integrating an AI assistant into a private browser is a brilliant idea.
I’m interested. Keep up the great work!
Wow, this sounds like a game-changer, @frostaloha! 🙌 It's super refreshing to see a focus on privacy in the AI space. The red button feature is such a clever touch – love that you guys are thinking about user control! Can't wait to see what else you have in store. Keep it up!
@blankwebdev Thanks! Can't wait to share about what's new to come, but it's not the time yet 😅 If you're into privacy, definitely try Aloha

Congratulations, Andrew and the Aloha team, on the launch of Private AI Assistant!
Can you elaborate on how the "red button" works to disable AI functionality? Is it a temporary or permanent solution, and how does it ensure that no residual data is retained?
@zara_bottom All AI code in the browser runs in isolated mode. When the Big Red Button is pressed, this prevents this code from even running. You can turn it back on at some point, if you wish so. But we believe with today's AI overload having a safe option to turn it all off is very important!
