Sounds like a second brain that works only for me!
Honestly, it's sometimes better than the first one 💀
Congratulations :)
ALTAR
@pritraveler Hey Woo Shin! Thanks for the love! I find it super helpful, when the "first brain" is simply out of memory haha. I store all of my different links and files from different projects (life and work included). And it gives me the piece of mind knowing everything is in a single place and easy to find later!
I've found that Altar is my preferred tool for collecting, organizing, and interacting with data. Instead of using notebooks or having too many browser tabs open, I can gather the information I need, take notes, jot down ideas, and organize everything. I can later query the data to find answers or generate new ideas based on the collected information.

@bigbreakmusic Love hearing this Scott! You’ve captured the heart of what we’re building! 🙌
We wanted ALTAR to feel like the opposite of “too many tabs and scattered notes” — a space where your ideas, research, and creativity actually talk to each other.
@steve_liu11 You nailed it! The minimalist interface is great; it doesn't get in the way. I can't wait to start using additional querying on the data I collected for my new project.
The balance between powerful AI and an intuitive, personal experience is crucial, and it sounds like you’ve nailed that. How customizable are the agent workflows? Can users tailor them for different types of projects or content?
ALTAR
@evgenii_zaitsev1 Thank you — that balance is exactly what we’ve been obsessing over!
The agent workflows in ALTAR are designed to be flexible from the start. Right now, you can trigger agents for tasks like summarizing, rewriting, searching, or generating based on the content you save — and we’re expanding that rapidly.

As a Designer at ALTAR, but also a daily user as part of my design process, I find the platform very useful for my workflow. The fact that I can collect Items to interact with in a specific Space helps me to achieve particular results and intuition.
As a creative, I'm always looking for inspiration, and often I find myself collecting images or links for potential future projects. With the ALTAR extension, this process feels almost natural, and the items are collected directly into my selected space, ready to interact with the AI agent, which feels good, and updates my creative process.

Hey Product Hunt,
I’m one of the engineers on the Altar team, and I also use Altar daily in my own workflow as a machine learning engineer. Whether it's logging ideas, saving key moments, or organizing scattered notes, it's been incredibly helpful knowing that everything is stored and can be retrieved later—especially when I need to remember something quickly or dig up past insights.
What’s really exciting is how flexible Altar is. If you're a designer or researcher, it makes it super easy to capture ideas on the fly and build structured knowledge over time. The latest updates also open up new ways to interact with your memory—from smarter workflows to improved creative tools.
Would love to hear how you might use it—or if anything’s missing that would make it even better.
Appreciate you checking it out!

Hi! This product is designed for creators who want a stable, long-term workspace to explore, organize, and expand their ideas. Whether you're searching for design inspiration or building a personal inventory of styles and concepts, this tool helps you stay creatively fueled.
You can do some really cool things with it—like finding a specific aesthetic and applying it to your own product, or even generating detailed blueprints of robots straight out of a sci-fi novel. If you’ve got imagination, this workspace gives you everything you need to refine and evolve your ideas continuously.
Does it also automatically correlate ideas and hence enrich?
ALTAR
@manu_goel2 Hey Manu, Chris here from the Product team. Absolutely, since all your notes, links and files are embedded, whenever you generate content in the Space, it draws from all this knowledge. Similarly suggested actions are based on the items that you've added to the space. So we see AI as a way to enrich your knowledge base, but using your base itself as the starting point of your ideation process.
