I just bought a 4k TV and haven't plugged in my old Apple TV for this reason. Good timing.

Still no Dolby Atmos support announced, which kinda kills this for me. Hopefully just something that wasn't announced but it's in there somewhere.

I’m not sure what Apple is thinking here. Apple lost sales to Roku and Amazon’s fire because the 1080p TV was too expensive.

@zduboss It’s never been about market share for Apple. It’s about cornering the part of the market that’s actually profitable. Quality, not quantity.
